President Veronica Chin and PP Juliana Tokuzip participated the Eye and Diabetes Screening project jointly organised by the Ophthalmology Department of Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and Rotary Club of Likas Bay at QEH tower block lobby on 8 November 2007.In conjunction with the World Sight Day, the free eye and diabetes screening and exhibition were mainly organised to create awareness on various eye blinding diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, eye injuries, cataract and the importance of eye care and treatment.
